August Wishlist

CARVEN

Carven never fails to impress with its cool and understated chic separates and this season is no exception; these luxury pieces could easily become winter staples.

Easy to layer, the design and fabric cuts are incredible for creating an envious silhouette with colour palettes of mustard, speckled greys, satin reds and cool blue.

Intarsia wool blend jumper, £410

For my wardrobe, I'm championing this super soft wool blend jumper, with contrasting geometric panels. I would keep this jumper fitted on top and worn with boyfriend jeans rolled at the bottom and paired with an ankle boot.

Cotton blend mini skirt, £260

This mini skirt is rich in autumnal colour and would work nicely with a crisp white shirt for smart day-wear or a fine-knit jumper when the weather get chilly. I would add in an embellished collar for the quirky factor and to add extra glamour.

Silk dress, £610

This season, curves and waist are important in autumn's silhouette; this LBD has been made over with structured power shoulders and a cinched waist for a flattering hour-glass shape. The three-quarter sleeves make this an effortless choice for office-to-bar dressing.

wool and cashmere blend jacket, £565

This black trimmed collar stands out on this mustard jacket and sums up cool Parisian chic. The cropped length is ideal for this trans-seasonal time and is perfect for off-duty days.

JEFFREY CAMPBELL

This season for Jeffrey Campbell represents the power woman ready to take on the world; chunky heels, masculine patent loafers and studded cowboy boots; these shoes are designed to make an impact.

Loza leopard print calf hair ankle boots, £140

My best picks include these monochrome leopard booties for a dose of animal print, and the contrast wooden heels adds an element of tough luxe, ultimately making any outfit more edgy.

Martini Studded Loafer, £130

The loafer is a big shoe shape this season and this studded pair are a glamorous alternative to a heel while being a more comfy option. These loafers are ideal for dress down days or for the office teamed with a fitted pencil trouser. Let the gold studs do all the talking and go easy on the accessories with these stand-out shoes!

Venice Wedge Trainer, £135
The wedge trainer is perfect for balancing out the sporty look with subtle femininity as seen in the rich berry colour and lace detailing, and the hidden heel cleverly adds height to create long lean legs. These soft suede trainers are definitely my off-duty shoe choice.

ZARA

I am lusting after Zara's new arrivals this month, very clean-cut, straight laced and worthy investment ideas. Bursting with military influences centered around leather and lace fabrics with embellished detailing and and an emphasis on zips, seams and buttons all on show. I particularly want the metallic jacquard trousers; suuuper glam!
